Vinatge 18ct Gold Ammolite and Diamond Fancy Earrings. Lovey Quality.

These very unique earrings are manufactured in 18ct gold and are set with Ammolite and diamonds. 

Ammolite is a unique organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is commonly unearthed by natural erosion or through the process of various mining practices, within the perimeter of an ancient seabed called the Western Interior Seaway. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineral contained in nacre, with a microstructure inherited from the shell. It is one of few biogenic gemstones; others include amber and pearl.

The backs of the earrings are the super secure `Omega fittings`

The ammolites measure ~7.6mm x 7.6mm

Overall measurements 15mm x 15mm

Diamonds are ~1.0mm in diameter (24 in total)

Excellent weight at 6.8g
