Lovely Vintage Art Deco Inspired Citrine 18ct Rose Gold Dress Ring Dating From The 1950's.
Genuine 1950`s dress ring, that is well made in the popular 'odeonesque' style.
A fantastic ring mounted in 18ct rose gold which has a large emerald cut citrine on the centre with attractive scroll shoulders that are engraved for added definition. The citrine is surrounded by a scalloped motif. The whole design is very retro and pure art deco!
The citrine is a gorgeous intense orange with flashes of yellow.
The stone has been tested on our refractometer (we are professional jewellers/gemmologists) , its a genuine natural citrine of good intense colour.
This is a large ring, the citrine measures approx. 12.1mm x 10.0mm. Weighs approximately 5.61 carats - impressive on the finger.
Head of the ring measures 15.3mm in width tapering to a 2.6mm shank, and 7.9mm in depth.
Weight 7.8g. This is a good weight example.
The ring size is currently M (UK Scale) or 6 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops (please contact us with your size to confirm before purchasing please).
Stamped '750' for 18ct gold.
Overall, a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine period cocktail/ dress ring jewellery.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very very light wear commensurate with age - its 65 years old!
This is a vintage item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
