Vintage 1950's Art Deco Inspired Transitional Cut Diamond 18ct Gold Cocktail / Dress Ring Manufactured by Charles Garnier.

Genuine 1950`s dress ring, that is well made in the popular 'Odeonesque' style.

A fantastic ring that is manufactured in in 18ct white and rose gold, the centre of the shoulders and the diamond are manufactured in white gold whilst the remainder is manufactured using rose gold. 
It is set with a large transitional cut diamond on the centre with attractive scroll shoulders that are engraved for added definition. The diamond is set within a step designed mount.
The whole design is very retro and pure art deco!
Diamond is clean, white and bright. 

Diamond measures approx. 3.6mmin diameter. Weighs approximately 0.20 carats.

Head of the ring measures 11.3mm in width tapering to a 2.1mm shank, and 6.3mm in depth.

Weight 3.3g. This is a good weight example.

The ring size is currently N (UK Scale) or 6 1/2 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops (please contact us with your size to confirm before purchasing).

Continental marks for 18ct gold. Sponsors mark 'C G' for Charles Garnier. 

Overall, a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine period cocktail/ dress ring jewellery. 

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very very light wear commensurate with age - its 65 years old!

This is a vintage item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
