A Stunning Pair of Vintage Amethyst, Citrine, Blue Zircon and Greet Topaz 9ct Rose and Yellow Gold Wheatsheaf Clip Earrings.

A delightful, very wearable vintage pair from the 1950/60's, from an era where quality mattered more than costs.
This quality pair are manufactured in two tone 9ct gold to resemble a wheatsheaf, the wheat is manufactured in 9ct rose gold whilst the remainder is manufactured in 9ct yellow gold.
Each earring is also set with 6 round amethysts with a citrine in the centre to resemble a flower, and a blue zircon and green topaz to remember a flower.
Superbly made of a good gauge of gold, they are hand finished/assembled.
Gemstones are claw set.

Amethysts measure 3.5mm in diameter.
Citrine measures 3.4mm in diameter.
Blue zircon measures 4.8mm in diameter.
Green topaz measures 3.9mm in diameter.

Earrings measure 28.1mm x 17.1mm and 10.9mm in depth.

Combined weight 9.0g. They are a well made estate pair of earrings that really make a statement in the ear.

Earrings use secure and strong `omega` clip fittings, posts could easily be added if needed.
Just stunning in the ear, would cost a lot of money new today.

Arthur Alabaster and Thomas Wilson founded their Company in 1887 in the heart of the historic Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Three years later they were able to build and move to their state of the art factory in Legge Lane.

From the outset, highly skilled craftsmen were employed to produce a wide range of high quality  jewellery designed for their discerning clientele of the late 19th century.
