Excellent Citrine 9ct Gold Dress Ring.
Very much in the vintage `dress ring` style which is becoming so sought after today.
This excellent quality ring is manufactured in 9ct yellow gold, and has a oval citrine in the centre, which is held in place by 12 claws; the ring also has an unusual oval domed gallery.
The citrine is a gorgeous intense orange with flashes of yellow.
The stone has been tested on our refractometer (we are professional jewellers/gemmologists), its a genuine natural citrine.
Gemstone measures approx. 14.2mm x 10.2mm. Calculated carat weight of 5.22 carats.
Head of ring measures 15.4mm x 11.7mm and 9.2mm in depth.
Shank is 2.5mm wide.
Weight 3.9g.
The ring size is N (UK Scale) equivalent to 6 1/2 in US size, but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1994. Sponsors mark 'W & G'.
Overall a very wearable/fashionable piece of jewellery.
CONDITION: Overall good, light wear commensurate with age.
This is a pre owned item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
