Vintage Enamel Masonic Swivel 9ct Gold Signet Ring.
This well made ring is manufactured in 9ct gold, and has a rectangular blue enamel in the centre with an applied gold Square and Compass; unusually, the the centre is hinged/reversible to reveal a blank cartouche. (Could be engraved if wished).
This is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. Both the square and compass are architect’s tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons.
Enamel measures approx. 10.8mm x 8.5mm.
Head of the ring measures approx. 13.2mm tapering to a 3.7mm shank.
Ring weighs 7.2g. This is a quality ring.
UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1987. Sponsors mark 'J H W'.
The ring size is currently V (UK Scale) or 10 5/8 (US Size) but can be modified a few sizes either way free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
