Vintage Mid-Century Diamond Set 18ct Gold Cocktail Ring

Vintage 1950's Diamond 18ct Gold Cocktail / Dress Ring.

A genuine 1950s dress ring is well made in the popular 'Odeonesque' style.

A fantastic ring that is manufactured in 18ct white and yellow gold, the bars of the shoulders, the beads within the flowers and the diamond mount are manufactured in white gold whilst the remainder is manufactured using yellow gold. 
It is set with a large modern brilliant cut diamond in the centre with 6 small flowers surrounding the centre stone, and it has an attractive rope design do the shoulders.
The diamond is set within a step-designed mount.
The whole design is very retro and pure Art Deco!
Diamond is clean, white and bright. 

Diamond measures approx. 4.3mmin diameter. Weighs approximately 0.30 carats.

The head of the ring measures 15.2mm in width tapering to a 4.4mm shank, and 7.1mm in depth.

Weight 7.3g. This is a good weight example.

The ring size is currently S (UK Scale) or 9 1/8 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our comprehensive workshops (please contact us with your size to confirm before purchasing).

Stamped '750' for 18ct gold. 

Overall, a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine period cocktail/ dress ring jewellery. 

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very very light wear commensurate with age - its 65 years old!

This is a vintage item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
