Excellent Vintage Sapphire and Diamond 18ct Gold Half Eternity Ring
Well manufactured in 18ct gold with 4 oval sapphires and a row consisting of 3 baguette cut diamonds (the ring has a total of 9 baguette cut diamonds) mounted across the head of the ring. The gemstones are 'rub over set' meaning there are no claws to catch or scratch, and it is a very comfortable ring to wear. Unusually, the gemstones are arranged in wave design across the head of the ring. A classic design that never goes out of fashion.
The natural diamonds are particularly well matched and bright and clean, whilst the sapphires are a gorgeous cornflower blue.
Eternity rings are traditionally given as a symbol of lasting affection, typically set with an unbroken circle set with gemstones. This ring could also be a diamond set wedding ring.
Sapphires measure 4.8mm x 3.7mm. Diamonds measure 2.2mm x 1.4mm.
Head of ring measures approx. 4.8mm (width) tapering to a 2.4mm shank.
Good weight at 4.6g.

The ring size is currently P 1/2 (UK Scale) or 7 3/4 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops (2 or 3 sizes either way).
