Vintage Sapphire and Diamond 18ct Gold Half Eternity Ring by Charles Green & Sons.

This lovely half-eternity band is manufactured in two-tone 18ct gold, the settings are in 18ct white gold whilst the remainder is crafted in 18ct yellow gold. Takes a very skilful goldsmith to solder a fine 18ct white setting to the edge of the channel like this.

It has been `channel` set with well-matched square cut sapphires (5 in total) and 4 modern brilliant cut diamonds; the gemstones are alternatively set across the head of the ring in an art deco design.
A classic design that never goes out of fashion.
Diamonds are well matched and white and bright and clean whilst the sapphires are a lovely mid blue. 

Eternity rings are traditionally given as a symbol of lasting affection, typically set with an unbroken circle set with gemstones. 

UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated London 1976. Sponsors mark 'C. G & S' for Charles Green & Sons, a well-known British quality jewellery manufacturer.

The head of the ring measures approx. 3.9mm tapering to a 2.8mm shank.

The ring weighs 3.8g. This is a nice quality ring.

The ring size is currently Q (UK Scale) or 8 (US Size) but can be modified a few sizes either way free of charge in our comprehensive workshops.

Overall a wearable piece of genuine preloved vintage ring at a fraction of the cost of a modern one.

CONDITION: Overall good, with some wear commensurate with age, particularly to the top of the crest/seal engraving. 

This is a preloved item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
